Elections
State and national ballots shall be open to all candidates who file a formal application before the specified deadline. The application process shall require no more than the basic information needed to accurately identify the applicant for inclusion on the ballot. No fees, tests, or other restrictions may be attached to the application process, nor may any applicant be denied except upon proof of forgery, fraud, or perjury in the application process.
All elections shall be open to candidates who have been citizens of the nation for a minimum of 10 years, and who have physically resided within the jurisdiction for which the position applies for a minimum of 2 years.
All aspects of the election process shall be transparent and open to public review.  Any citizen or organization shall be granted the right to view any and all raw and/or processed data regarding an election without fee, restriction, or limitation excepting as noted in the following paragraph. This data shall include all procedures, tools, and results.
The government has the duty and responsibility to protect and safeguard all election data from tampering or manipulation. As such, the government has the authority to place such limitations and restrictions as deemed necessary to ensure that all election data remains pure and untampered. Such limitations and restrictions may not, however, prevent or hamper the public from accessing, viewing, and/or verifying any and all pertinent data.
Elections shall be held every 5 years for the Presidency and Vice Presidency, and every 2 years for the Houses.
The office of the Presidency and the Vice Presidency shall have terms of 5 years. Members of the Houses shall have terms of 10 years. For the first elections of the nation, the seats in the Houses shall equally and randomly be divided into terms of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 years. After the first 10 years, one-fifth of the seats in the Houses shall be open for election.
