Context and Formatting
This is something that’s been bouncing around in my brain for a while.  There are 3 levels of importance to what is written here.
- At the top there is the text of the proposed Constitution. These are the words that actually appear in the document. They carry the full weight and power of authority. These sections will be written in blockquote structure.
- Comments of intent. These are additional comments that exist outside of the written law, but which explain the intent of what is written. So much of the debate about Constitutional law in the US centers on what the writers “really meant” by certain words or phrases. Such intent should be readily available and any debatable sections clarified. These sections will be written in italics
- Comments of context. This is just personal observation and background explaining why certain sections exist. These may be examples from current events, personal perspectives, or random tidbits of information. These sections will be written in plain text.
This formatting only applies to Pages, not posts here in the blog section of this site.  Somewhere down the line I’ll work on the CSS for the blockquote formatting so that it fits well with the flow of the overall theme.
